Cordiant Email is an extension to a Cordiant deployment, not a standalone product — it operates on top of Cordiant's brand voice, knowledge corpus, and deterministic backend. Email's lower licensing reflects a structurally different buyer envelope — a labor-cost-reduction product that lands with VP-of-Operations or Director-of-Guest-Services budgets.

What does a regional deployment mean?

A regional deployment is one regional Opera Cloud tenancy, covering up to 100 properties within that region. A brand operating across multiple regions — Americas, Europe, APAC — signs a separate license, brand-level support, and ops contract per region, reflecting the separate Opera Cloud tenancy, identity, and data-residency posture each region requires. Each product is licensed separately per regional deployment.

What is the difference between self-operated and Cordiant-operated?

Two operating modes. One architecture. Self-operated: your platform team runs the system, with Cordiant Brand Support covering platform upgrades, security patches, architectural evolution, and deployment-level integration maintenance — at 25% of the license fee per deployment annually. Cordiant-operated: Cordiant runs the platform inside your tenant under an ops contract, covering 24/7 monitoring and incident response, platform upgrades, LLM inference management, Oracle adapter maintenance, scaling, and on-call — priced at $150,000 to $250,000 per deployment per year, scaling with deployment size. Can I license one product without the others?

Cordiant and Cordiant Staff can each be licensed standalone — either can be a brand's first deployment.
